Soooooo i love it when i can help any one out and so this post is to a email that i got

here is said email
.................................................. .................................................. .......

My name is M......... and I have been working on an RV that was damaged from refrigerator fire on the passenger side.

I have completely gutted the interior and luckily there is no frame damage. Just interior walls and ceiling panels are damaged. So far the interior has been completely stripped to the studs.

Now I have a dilemma.

I have been trying to finish this project within a budget but the ceiling panels are 150 dollars a piece for 4x8 feet size. I will need 10 of those. I have noticed that you have done your homemade ceiling panel with fabric. I am trying to see what you have done for your ceiling panels and the fabric as well as the glue you used to have the fabric to be held in place.

Also I would like to pick your brain on the solar power as well as insulation material you would use.

.................................................. .................................................. ..

so i made a video to help show .. cues you guys now how bad my spelling is LOL ... where i got my ceiling panels 8.2 x 4

this was one thing i forgot to say in my video your ceiling sets on your side walls so the panels are really longer then 8 feet long as this is seen in more TT 5ers and motor homes of most any year WB did not do this on some units tho

not sure if there around any more panels for 40$ https://www.facebook.com/pages/Toms-...55428524494831

but here i know there still around and 10$ to 15$ each for panels Building Materials, Mobile Home Supplies | Plant City, FL not sure what they have in stock but its in the back and they most of the time well have alot of it big truck loads

ceiling fabric / head liner Reliatex - Upholstry Products to the Trade 10$ a yard and they do shipping

video is uncut so work with me guys

so here are some numbers form me

every 8x4 feet of roof you see on my units is around $103
this is the cost of
glue
wood panels
insulation material that is 2 8x4 3/4 thick and 1 8x4 1.5 thick and cutting up and roll of R11 paper back
fabric --- you can - 30$ here if you like just the wight all ready wallpapered panels i showed you in my video but that type is raelly only used in TT and 5ers .. motor homes are more the padded type you see here

Nice video explaining the roof. I like the artwork you installed on the roof. Very creative.

Keep your chin up, Terry. We know you've been through some tough times but things will get better - with your attitude and work ethic.

We're all behind you, you're doing great!

Cheers!

Well, The GoPro usually has a better video quality and that really wide angle lens but if the audio cuts out it's really of no use so if I had to pick between the two and repeating the shoot wasn't practical, I would use the reliable Note. What software do you edit with? You could always use both and merge the audio from the note if there were problems with the gopro.
