RV fire this evening in San Diego

Just saw a news story on TV, RV fire on I-15 in San Diego, just hate to see these happen. Occupants are OK, looks like they got it to the side of the highway. Not sure of the make, it looks to be a late model DP. There are a couple of pictures and a short write up on the 10news San Diego web site. The coach looks like a loss, but thankfully everyone made it out.

A couple days ago while we were on I-80 between Iowa City and Davenport, IA there was another MH burning on the shoulder.

Apparently everyone got out, but it was a complete write off. Looks to be a gasser...note how far forward the front wheels are in relation to the front seat frames.

I'm not a hundred percent sure, but this rig might have passed me just after getting on I-80 at Iowa City. It was really windy...30+mph gusts so I was keeping it at 55mph. We saw the smoke from some distance away before we got to the site of the fire. They were able to pull off the highway and onto an off ramp.

I've see a lot of inner rear tires go up by Riding it flat. So if you get a warm feeling stop and check it out. I have made it to the next exit when it happened to me but I didn't push it.
