RV Insurance

What should we expect to pay annually for RV insurance on a DP? I know it depends on a lot of factors, but I'm looking for a ballpark estimate. Also, any recommendations for insurance carriers would be appreciated.

I pay $116.00 a month for comp/collision with Progressive.

You can get quotes from Good Sam, the Hartford, etc., but make sure you put all the areas you want covered in the plan.

We got our insurance thru the AARP with the Hartford Insurance. For the MH we pay $941/yr. We also got our homeowners and auto insurance thru the Hartford at the same time. We unfortunately had an accident with the MH and they paid for everything (except the deductible) - no problems. What yours will cost will depend on your vehicle, deductible, location etc. but it's worth a phone call.

Insurance

Just received my annual insurance renewal policy and the premium for the next 12 months.

I've got State Farm and my renewal premium is $731.00 for full coverage with a $1000.00 deductible, 250,000/500,000 comp & coll, etc. - That's up about $50.00 from last year.

I've also got the same company for all my autos and home. Fortunately I've never had a claim on either the coach, home or any autos.

I've also shopped the Hartford and a number of other company'ss and nobody even came close to my premium.

Guess it does pay to shop around - all it takes is the time for phone calls.
