RV Insurance For Snowbirds

Do most snowbirds pay full timer insurance rates for their coverage? I am currently getting quotes from companies that tell me if you use your RV for anything over 180 days, then you are considered full time and pay full time rates. I use my RV for about 6 months out of the year as a snowbird and then store it for the remainder of the year up North.

RV Insurance For Snowbirds

I think the 180 day stipulation is common. It was for my Ins. Co. I came close to the six months but was never asked by my Co.

Good Sam has National General Full time insurance. You can put it on storage mode for up to 6 months when not using it.
