My impatience got the best of me. Watched 5 minutes and he said nothing. Couldn't take any more.

This is a really good info vid but you have to actually watch it.

Ok, this fella is a lawyer and has his own YT channel. He's not a polished YT video star. Just giving good info. And no he's not selling anything.

A must see for people like us. And especially for people who buy brand new rigs and are having big warranty issues and can't seem to get anywhere with the dealer or manufacturer.

I'd say most all of us have gone to YT and watched all the free info vid's out but from time to time but hardy ever—at least—click the LIKE button if it helped you. It's just a courteous thing to do. It takes a lot of time and effort to product this stuff. It costs us nothing to click I LIKED that.

Yeah, if people have something to say they should say it, not just post a link to a video.

The think most people forget of never hear about is that most of these lawsuits get reversed or reduced on appeal.

I didn't click on the link, I'll wait for the Cliff-notes. Every click gets him money.

I skipped towards the end and found some names then searched. Here’s a link to an article:

Yep Steve's getting rich off of these videos. Last number I heard for a view was I think $0.0007 or 70 cents for every thousand views, not much money. As of this writing Steve has made something less than $20.00 on this video.

Now is he selling something, you betcha, he's selling his legal services. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing but I'm pretty sure he's not doing this for the money but maybe it's to feed he ego, I don't know. But I'm pretty sure it's not for the money.

The cliff notes version is that a Federal Court in Pennsylvania awarded someone $500,000 for all the trouble they had with their RV. It has not been appealed yet and yes it could be appealed successfully, but time will tell. Now would I expect this from every jury, no way. I firmly believe this is the man bites dog scenario.

The good stuff starts around 11:00 or so.

Agreed. I've watched many of his videos and found them informative. I think he said on one that he is only licensed in Michigan so he's not selling anything to the other 49 states.

Summary of the matter -

A consumer purchased a 2013 Winnebago Adventurer Model 35P April of 2015. The RV had a "New Vehicle Limited Warranty" with 12 months of coverage from Winnebago. Over the course of 10 months while traveling the coach was presented for repair 10 times, unsuccessfully. June 2016 the owner files in US District Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania seeking monetary damages for breach of express and/or implied warranties in violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Three years later, July 2019, after a five day trial a jury agreed with the owners and awarded them $500,000. The presiding Judge can add additional damages valued at three times the award. An appear of the award is expected.

For a more detailed summary https://casetext.com/case/hanreck-v-winnebago-indus-inc

The interesting part, at least for me, starts at section D. State Law Warranty Claims. "Plaintiffs argue that, because of the numerous and repeated repairs needed during their year-long trip, the warranty failed of its essential purpose such that the limitation provision is invalidated under Pennsylvania law". Paragraph 32 is the list of repairs.

Sometimes one successful legal challenge becomes a crack in the dam holding back a flood. And sometimes not. We shall see.

Exactly. Now there is a legal precedent that can be used by others.

I didn't see in the case text where the award was given. Did I miss it in the umpteen pages (it was an interesting read though) ?
