Question RV Mobility Lifts

Need comments, suggestions and advice on mobility lifts for the front door of a diesel pusher.

Have seen web sites for several different brands but there are alot of questions.

A standing platform lift would probably be the best selection.

The rough measurements are 48" from the ground to the inside floor.

I have not found any local RV dealers in the Denver area that has any examples of their instullations.

Specific comments from fellow RV's who have lifts would be greatly appriecated.

We just had the Burr Handi-lift installed here in Washington, my wife fell out of the RV backwards and messed up her back.
Other than the 300 lbs. limit she loves it. (no wheelchair)
It is the stand up unit and at first it scared her but she adapted, it's like any accessory, there is a learning curve.
Since we had it put on we have recomended it to some other RVers and the shop we had do it has installed 5 or 6 more.

I inquired with Burr Engineering and was told that a platform unit would not mount on a diesel pusher - there's a conflict with the way the lifts stores and the front steer tire (as it it would be in the way). I'm still looking at other options. Check out Coach Lift - I has a local distributor coming out tomorrow to talk about it.It is more expensive, not sure why the cost difference, but I intend to ask about that.
