RV Repair Shop

Hello everyone! We are moving into our '94 Bounder Diesel 36P in about 2 weeks. I was wondering if anyone could recommend an honest repair shop in Houston that could replace our city water inlet and LP Gas leak detector before we move in. I know we waited a little late to try to get repairs done before moving in We'll just have to get a hotel room if the repair shop needs to keep it longer than that. I called Camping World in Katy and they said they wouldn't even be able to look at it until the 17th

Some other things I want to have checked out but that are not absolute necessities before we move in are:

-Check brake fluid and flush if necessary (I understand it should be flushed every 2-3 years and I have no clue when the previous owner last did it)

-Check/replace wiring/relays for headlights and instrument cluster. Our head lights and back up camera will randomly go out while driving and then come back on. Also, all of the gauges on the dash like to bounce around whenever I activate one of turning signals (to the cadence of the turn signal).

-The diesel generator is a little sluggish on startup and emits a thick cloud of black smoke once it finally starts

-Repair LP stove. When we bought the coach in July, the dealer said there was an LP leak in the oven and so they capped off LP gas to the entire stove/oven. I don't really care about the oven, but we'd like to have the stove operational since we'll be living in it full time.

Thanks for any recommendations and help!

-Patrick and Lauren

Hey y'all. When we were in Houston actually Pasadena, we used C and D RV repair on Preston. Our level leg broke and was dragging on the ground, Rusty, from C & D came to where we were staying and removed the part so we could get the coach into their shop. Fair pricing, quick service. We were very happy with the repairs done by them.

Check out the site below. It doesn't include all repair facilities but usually will include the ones you want to stay away from.
