Keep shades closed, basements locked but leave site as if you'll be back any minute. For example don't fold lawn chairs and close everything up. Leave a couple of chairs and a small radio playing quietly, gives an impression someone will return shortly. Motion lights at night can intimidate along with some motion activated halloween items. As for where you camp be careful along the mexican border, near major cities, prisons , highways, etc....camp close to traffic areas not in the far back. Camp with friends and learn to make friends quickly.....Stay safe stay healthy stay smart!
