Ive been shopping for a class A. I have a couple years before I can buy I am still in the research stage.
I really like the bounders. Ever since I was young I wanted a bounder. Why does every single bounder I look at looks like a flower shop exploded inside?

Im wanting a diesel pusher and there are not very many Bounders with Diesel so that is out anyway.

Whats the best? I have a 30 to 35k budget. Having a slide is nice but not completely nessary. there are alot of nice old DPs out there in the 20 k range but i dont know what to look for. I know I want the 6speed Allison trans. Cummins or cat engine makes me no difference. They are both good engines. It seems like the cummins is way more popular.

Ha,there is another recent thread on why most if the Rv interiors look like something from grand ma's house . It seems like some of the newer ones are a bit better. If I understand correctly, you are a couple of years away from pulling the trigger. Does the 30-35k estimate your future budget, or current budget? I ask as someone more knowledgable will chime in, and with the way these things depreciate if you thought you had more to contribute down the road,that may help folks target a model that would work for you. Think twice about a diesel pusher unless you can do most of the repair and service yourself!

Not trying to start a war or insult anyone, but my BIL just bought a 2014 Bounder Classic and the interior looks like a funeral home. The valances, bedspread and drapes are all done in black. Not sure what's worse the funeral home or flower shop interior. BTW, Winnebago has some different interiors too.

That is my future budget. I have to pay off my Pickup first.

Also I can do all the service myself. At work we have 3 semi trucks right now along with a dozen farm tractors and various other equipment that My brother and I do all the service on. Except for the stuff you have to plug into a computer.

I have been creeping around on ebay. When car shopping in the past I found ebay helpful. Just to see whats all out there, what people are asking, and the hundreds different options there are available.

Ive been leaning towards Winnebago. A neighbor of ours uses our shop to work on his Monaco. I really like that. I have plenty of time and I am finding the hunt its self to be fun.

I just didn't know if there is one certain brand or style to stay away from all together.
