The cameras on our 2013 Winnebago adventurer are part of the mirror housings. They can be adjusted to see anything and everything along the side of the coach. They're a big improvement over earlier models. They have a nice wide angle field of view and superb clarity. Much nicer than going through contortions to try to see if there's anyone in the blind spot.

I was able to take my side cameras apart and clean the inside of the lens. Be careful with the o'rings when you put them back together.

I saw an ad that advertised when you turn your turn signal on if the camera sensed a vehicle in your blind spot a warning would sound. Is this how Rv systems work too? And if so, does the moisture keep it from working?

See this thread http://www.irv2.com/forums/f107/fogg...as-123099.html

I gave semi detailed instructions in the referenced thread but read the whole thread as others added useful suggestions along the way

Ditto, I have them and never ever use them.
