RV Sofa Mattress replacement...suggesstions

Our factory rv sofa bed mattress is uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. It seldom is used so I don't want to pay a fortune. however I want my guests to be comfortable. I am thinking that we should look into an air mattress opposed to a foam mattress. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Don't replace it. Instead get a memory foam topper to go on top of your sofa when extended. Walmart or Kohls has them. Roll it up and put away when you don't need it (e.g. under the master bed).

This is the mattress that I have in my RV's sleeper sofa and all of my guests (I've never slept on it myself) have commented on how comfortable it is:

I bought a full size queen from THIS company and I am VERY pleased with the comfort.

I have no plans to ask for a refund from their 100 day guarantee.

I chose their 8" Luxury Cool-MAX® Gel Foam RV Mattress II.

I got a personal comfort a3 off amazon for about $600. It compares to my much more expensive sleep number at home. Would recommend.

We have the same one in our Country Coach and I love this thing. I have had more back surgeries than I care to recall and this is the best I have slept on. I can't use our TempurPedic at all.

We bought a gel/foam topper from Costco for our RV...and we are extremely happy with it. Although it might be a bit awkward storing it when not using the fold out sofa......
