RV Tax
Hello,
We are from Germany and have an RV in USA.
After 2 years, we now have to pay taxes for the motor home.
Can you do it on each Tax Place?
and you get the stickers immediately?
greetings from Germany
Ralf

For me, you haven't really explained your situation. What type of tax ? Where is the RV located ? Why is it being taxed after 2 years ?
A little more in depth information may get you the answers you are looking for.

RV Tax
Hi,
The RV is located in Bradenton/Florida, it is a registration tax (TAG) and we must pay all 2 years on my birthday. Can we pay the tax in the DMV Office in Fort Myers/Florida and get there the tag immediately ?
Thanks Ralf

RV Tax
That's a registration fee / tax. You can get your tag in that office if all of your other paper work on the RV is in order including proof of insurance.

Taxes in ea state are different. Who is taxing you? Are you talking about license plate tags? Not normally considered a tax.

Yes, when you pay the registration fee (tax), they will give you a sticker for your license plate immediately. I believe you can do that at any DMV office, as long as you have the registration renewal form with you.
I believe this is no different than in Germany, when you pay for your car registration renewal.

In many states (not Florida though) you pay an ad valorem tax when you register a vehicle.
Hope this helps.

Yes, Florida will give new registration tags immediately if you go the office. It doesn't have to be the same one - any Florida DMV office can issue them.

If your tags are current you can also do renewals online (gorenew.com). However they mail the stickers to you so you don't get them immediately.

There is a tax component in the registration fee but it isn't broken down. Also you can also register it for 1 year if you want, 2 years is just 2x the price. More convenience, not $ savings. You can also renew online, check your form. Maybe not for out of country renewals.

I think he is referring to the option to pay for one or two years for the stickers
