RV Temp Monitor

I know there have been many posts about this topic, BUT it seems most are several years old. I would like to monitor our coach's temp. I would like to have the following: Ability to set alarm parameters hi/low. Have it call or text my cell upon alarm trigger. Simpler the better - I can dedicate a cell phone or laptop to it when in use so bluetooth and/or cell data are in play. I've seen USB style and 2-component style, really not sure what works well, is reasonable and reliable. Need

Please reply if you are using one and like it, AND how it works (ie what is required to make it function)

Thanks for your thoughts/insight.

Worried about campground power going off for AC use?
You can get a generator hardware to start it, if electric goes off.

Temperature monitor

Check this out, it's popular among the dog show crowd, works only with ATT or T-Mobile currently, maybe Verizon by 2016

If you want to monitor the RV power, I figured out how to do that on Android using Tasker and Email Me Pro apps. If you want to monitor temperature as well...I haven't gotten that far. But it should be possible with some of the plug-in or Bluetooth thermometers out there.
