I think you want to watch the kelvin numbers. Over 4000 I think you'll find them harsh and "blue". The first LED replacements we bought were 4200k and have a blue tint. The last purchase we made were for a number of 3100k and they have a nice warm light. A bit brighter than the halogens and not as "yellow", but still no noticable blue tint and nowhere near as harsh as the first batch we bought. Sorry, I've not purchased replacements for the vanity.
I'm slowly replacing the halogens that are proving to have a very short life span, especially for full timing, not to mention the heat they put out.
