Saf T Steer

I went to Saf t plus dealer to purchase unit number #41-180 for my 2016 Fleetwood Bounder on an F53 chassis. the dealer explained that I should purchase the #41-230 for my F53 because the #41-180 was at the top of the threshold rating and the dealers past experiance shows that the #41-230 is better suited for the F53 even though Saf T steers application chart shows the $41-180 is the correct application for the F53 chassis. Has anyone ever heard of this and is this in fact good information?

Or... call Hendersons Lineup In Grants Pass, Oregon. They are experts with anything concerning motorhome suspensions.

The guys in Deming, NM are great but they mfg Steer Safe, which is also a great product. Why not call or e-mail Safe-T-Plus directly. When I had a question, a very nice lady (kdoran@safe-t-plus.com) responded immediately to my e-mail.

I spoke her today, she said it would not be a problem and to let her know my thoughts. We'll see how it turns out. I'm installing it this weekend.

Just had the 41-180 installed in my 2015 hurricane (F53)

a few days ago. While I like the added resistance the SafeTplus adds, really don't think I would want more! It's nice to be able to drive one handed now, but added resistance might be overdoing it! Just my thought!

The added resistance is my biggest concern, I do not want it to be a chore to drive. After I install it , I'll let you know what I think. A friend of mine added the 230 to his 35' Dolphin and he can't say enough good things about it. I hoping for the same result.
