Wink Safari Cheeta manufacturer

Good Day All,

Who makes the safari cheeta. I am looking a 36 foot cheeta versus 34 foot Holiday Rambler....both diesels. Looking at quality comparison...any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Safari was a part of the Monaco/Holiday Rambler family.
Safari Motorcoaches

The last few years have been a bumpy road for that company...and they are all but closed for business. I looked at a few Safari's and while I did not buy one, found they were well built RV's with lots of high quality interior features.

With any used RV, be a smart shopper...like - a 10 year old Winnie might be in MUCH better condition than a 10 year old Monaco. It's often much more about wear and tear than original reputation.

(EDIT) While Safari is "shelved" - here's news about the company: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/asv-news-186199.html (EDIT)

Best luck

It depends upon the year of the Safari. Safari/Beaver were purchased by Monaco in 02 (I believe). Prior to that, Safari was a separate company.

After Monaco bought out Safari/Beaver, both became clones of the Monaco/Holiday Rambler lines. You could purchase any of the four name plates and each of the others would have a model that is almost identical.

So, tell us what year Safari and the Holiday Rambler you are looking at?
