Safari Cheetah?

We are looking at a 2004 Safari Cheetah 36 PDD. Is there anything other than the normal coach issues found with all coaches I should be concerned with?

I do know about the trailing arm situation and the tires are the original 7 year old units. We will have access to all of the maintenance records.

We live in the Rockies and will be pulling a 16 foot enclosed trailer on occasion with my two motorcycles inside. Will the 330 horse Cat pull this combo without any problems at this elevation?

I also found that there was a significant jump in the original purchase price between the 2004 and 2005 models. What were the changes responsible for the jump?

Anyone have any sage advice for me given their experience with these coaches?

We may be able to pick this coach up for just under $60K. Is this as good a deal as I think?

Thanks for any input,
Mike

New tires and check on the trailing arm. Mine is 40 foot 2004 with the 330 in it. I haul a 200# bike on back and also tow a Pt Cruiser. Been up and down the Rockies, no problem. Get your speed stable BEFORE the climb and you will be at the top of the pass with speed to spare.
