Safari Simba TV

I just purchased a 2008 SafariSimba motorhome -It has 2 TV's I can not get them to power up. There is a box in the storage compartment - that has a lot of buttons - tv 1, vcr, tv2 with multiple button in each cagtegory.
Is their a trick to getting the TV's to work

Won't power up, or won't display an input?

For power, the TV's need 115 AC, so you need to be plugged into shore power, running the generator, or have an inverter and have it swiutched on. If the clock on the microwave is blinking, the TV's should power up.

Once they are on, let's try to get a picture from something.

That box you describe, it does the coax input, selects which one goes where. Coax input could be cable tv, or satelite, or the crankup antenna. All can be somewhat tricky to get going.

On an 08, you'll have a dvd player, and it will probably be cabled directly to the front tv. So turn on a movie, and step through the front tv's inputs until you get it onscreen.

Check back and let us know how you did.

Well, Welcome to the Pride (Safari Coaches), yah might just wander over to these two websites -- Safarifriends : To promote the exchange of information regarding SAFARI MOTORHOMES. and

Lot of helpful & knowledgeable folks regarding all things Safari.

As for your problem, that is a Video Selctor box and is meant to select the input source of the video, i.e., Satellite, OTA Antenna, DVD, etc. and then to direct it to either the front TV or the Rear/Basement TV's. You need to power on the TV then select a video source.
