Safari Trek 29rbd air pump noise

I have an intermittent and unsolicited noise in the front engine compartment on the drivers side that sounds like a small air pump, possibly to the horns in my 2007 Safari Trek, Workhorse chassis . Has anyone had a similar problem and if so what is causing it, where do I go to correct it, etc. Seems to be more frequent and as is usual with these issues it will undoubtedly get worse before it just goes away.

In that case I believe you are correct that what you hear running is most likely the 12V air compressor for the air horn air supply.
When the key is 1st turned on it should pump up to a preset pressure and shut off...(mine runs for a few minutes whenever the key is first turned on after the coach sits overnight or longer, or if I use the air horns).
Check the air pump, the air lines and the air tank for leaks.
