Safe-T-Plus or EezTire System First?
I've watched tire blowout videos, read many posts including first hand front tire blowout experiences and spoke to a few owners. I do want both Safe-T-Plus installed * and use the EezTire System. However, due to budget, I'm going to have to select one to start.
I still want to do a transmission service this year and had an unexpected repair last month, replaced the Suburban Furnace (the motor went out in the 23 year old Suburban SF-35, I know I could have just replaced the motor but with temps below 20 degrees those two weeks didn't have the time - I decided to install a new SF-35Q. I still have the old one and will at one point replace the motor and use it in a shed at our house (and backup for the Coach's new furnace).
If you could only start with one system/expense, where would you put your money?
Safe-T-Plus ($800)
or
EezTire System ($400)
I spoke to the last owner and a couple DP owners I know around town, all three didn't/don't use either on their DP's. The last owner stated he checked tire pressure manually for each long leg.
But, as I wrote above, after research and watching videos of tire blowouts, I do want to use both eventually.
Feedback appreciated.
* Assuming there is a Mount Kit available for this Coach's Spartan EC-2242 Chassis, I think the Mount Kit Part # is V-917K1 and the Safe-T-Plus is the Blue 41-230.

I would buy the SteerSafe stabilizers at about $439 and use the rest to buy the TPMS system!

Did that price include installation and adjustment or did you do the installation yourself?
I have watched Safe-T-Plus's installation videos (linked below).
The Safe-T-Plus is $550 with the bracket (installation extra) but I want Brazels RV Performance (30 mins away) to do the installation. Since this is a critical safety device and for the lifetime warranty, I think it's best to have a Company like Brazels to do the installation and road test/adjustment.
I'll have to read up on the two systems, I'm not sure if Brazels sells both.

I would get the tire monitor system first. It will alert you to abnormal pressure/temperature, allowing you to pull over prior to the blowout. Steering stabilizer will help during a blowout, but will not give prior warning.

If I had to choose between one or the other, I would first install a TPMS system. That is used all the time, and actually saves you work of checking on tire pressures all the time.
I went two years+ before installing a safeTsteer, and did it primarily for tire blowout assistance.....although most also report some improvement in steering.

I would buy a TPMS first. You can drag a tow car with a flat tire and will never know it's back there until someone alerts you.

Are you posting about the Truck Systems Technologies System?
https://tsttruck.com/collections/all-products
If so, seems more expensive than the EezTire System - 6 Wheel System is $289 and you can get a deal on the 10 Wheel System with booster for around $450. They have have model with USB charging and the main unit is gold color which would look very nice in our Coach
Anyways, not sure how that would save me money.
I've watched that video you posted and others.
This Owner's experience he posted about is what really got my attention:

Skill or strength will not make a front blowout a non event. You need help.

You could make an equally valid argument for each. Depends on what your priority is. You will get many opinions, but guidance should only come from those that give you the reason(s) why they would pick one to install first. Even so, their priority is not necessarily yours.
FWIW, I have both. Personally, I would install the Safe-T-Plus first because a front tire blowout could result in a catastrophe without it, whereas you can check air pressure with a gauge every morning and visually inspect along with hand on tire for temp check at each stop. Bottom line, a front tire blowout can occur in each option. Which would you rather have if that happens? A TPMS may not protect against sudden loss of air pressure and it certainly won't protect you if you hit road debris, causing a blowout.
If this was just a matter of logic, you wouldn't get varying opinions. Or, I could be completely full of it!

Safe T Plus
We had a Safe T Plus installed at the factory in Georgia and love it. When you buy it there they install it for free. Two tech’s worked on mine and were perfectionist making adjustments until I could let go of the wheel and it drove straight down the road. I’ve never met a friendlier bunch of people. Super happy with my decision. I just spent a comfortable day with 30 mph winds and I never thought I’d say that.

Take a look under your coach at the tie rod. I have 1995 Spartan EC2242 chassis and it came from Spartan with Safe-T-Plus installed.
