Does your MPG change from running with a full tank to a empty one?

I have never checked. I had a real problem with porpoising so I had always kept it full to stop that. I replaced my front shocks with Koni's and tried driving with 1/4 or 1/2 tank and it was so bad I went back to full tank. I think road conditions wind and other factor seem to impact gas milage more than the extra weight.

Here's my story on the Safe-T-Plus. I searched for the best price and actually found it on Amazon ($362+$58 for the attachment kit). Got it a couple of days later in a huge box that was pretty near destroyed. At least everything was still in it. Jacked the coach up and followed all the directions and when done let the coach back down. Well, it bent the bracket that was attached to the Safe-T-Plus and also the eyelet on the STP. I called STP and told them what had happened and they said the bracket was an old style that they thought was off the market. They immediately sent out a new bracket kit (correct one) and a new STP- all at no charge to me and even though I did not buy it direct from them. They want me to send back to them the bent STP and bracket kit at their expense.
This type of customer service is hard to find now-a-days and I wanted to share it with all.
Oh, forgot to mention that the steering is a little firmer, which I feel is a plus, as I'm not driving a 4000# sports car, and the unit tracks straight down the road. Win Win

In getting the correct bracket for my Safe-T-Plus installation at Camping World I had to correct the Parts man. He nearly ordered the wrong one.
The company web site has all the info for your rig.
I know you'll love it. I noticed a difference right out of the Camping World parking lot.

It was almost 2 years ago, if you bought one around then I would check it. I think it was just that one unit but can't hurt to check.

Thought I would add my .02 on the Safe-T-Plus.
I installed mine about two weeks ago. Pretty simple process and did the road test several times to get it where I wanted it. Tracks real nice no ill effects that I can tell other then as mentioned slightly stiffer steering, but nothing negative.
I drove it about 500 miles to the keys where we are now and it was a definite improvement. Considerably less buffering from passing trucks. etc. It tracks nice and straight..
For what its worth, I saw no differnce in handling based on fuel level.
Worth the money IMHO.

I ordered one from Henderson and am having our shop put it on next week. I put one on our FW Excursion last year and it really helped. The Entegra Anthem handles much better than the Excursion, but I still find I'm over steering in the wind and in the ruts in the road. I'm fairly confident that the STP will solve that problem .. and I wanted it for the blow out capabilities. Lynn

I've added safe t plus to three motorhomes and if I get another motorhome I'll add it to that one. I do feel it helps control the steering motion.

Just finished adjusting mine today, took a few tries to get it perfectly straight...I can tell you I am now a one handed driver!! Over a period of two days, had the front end aligned, tire balanced and trued, SafeTplus installed, and the CHF done.....I actually enjoy driving my 2015 Hurricane now!

Totally disagree it is a placebo. All you have to do, is have someone video tape your hands on the steering wheel on a 5 minute interstate drive prior to installing the system. Then video tape your hand movement on the wheel after it is installed. Before I installed mine, my hands looked like a Nascar driver from the in car camera shots. Constant back and forth movement, after the install I can take my hands off of the wheel for 5 to 10 seconds at a time and even longer and it tracks very straight. Much much easier and far less tiring on a long trip. The semi's are still going to push you to the side whether you have this or not but it does not wander as much as you try and correct for that side draft. I find no difference whether I am heavy or light, the Safety Plus keeps my tracking straight regardless with no wander whatsoever.
The only thing that you have to get used to, if you are in a long slow curve, the device is trying to center your wheels and you have to keep pressure on the wheel to hold the curve.
I have a 2009 W-22 and found a huge improvement with this. It pulls both front wheels to the center. THIS SHOULD BE STANDARD EQUIPMENT ON ALL MH's in my opinion.
If you have your front wheels perfectly centered when installing, unless you are well out of alignment, you probably will not even have to adjust. It is a simple DIY install, particularly if you have an impact wrench. You do not have to jack up the coach. If you are DIY, BE SURE TO BUY THE REQUIRED BRACKET TO MATCH IT TO YOUR CHASSIS. It is extra $ and you have to have it

Def not a placebo effect... Its called engineering, steering dampeners have been around for a long time... Jeeps have been using them for years.

Received my 41-230 Safe T Steer yesterday afternoon. Man!!!........what a chunk. I was expecting something a little bigger than the damper on my 18,000# F53.....and it was.
I'll install it on Friday or Saturday.
