I bought the SteerSafe, not for any steering issues but for control in case of a blowout on a front tire!

I assume you mean Safe-T-Plus brand of steering stabilizer. I had this installed to give me better control in a front tire blowout situation. I believe that it handles better in the wind now, but I couldn't quantify this. I have had the Safe-T-Plus for two years and have had no problems with it.

The Safe-T-Plus is a safety device, period. We don't subscribe to any luck theroies but don't risk our lives in the event of a front tire blowout at highway speeds.

We have installed one on each of our motorhomes and will do the same when the time comes.

We had safetyTplus I stalked on our 40' DP Freightliner last year. Have put several thousands if miles with it.

Improved return to center when turning. Improved straight line tracking on the freeway. Huge improvement in heavy crosswind situations - huge. Plus the safety factor in case of a tire failure.

One of the best things we've bought. Paid $670 at a Rally installed and setup by factory tech. If you are near Atlanta they do Installs at their factory near there for about the same price.

I have had the Safe-T Plus installed on my last two motorhomes. I like it and I would have it installed on a future motorhome. Like others have mentioned, I installed it as a safety measure, although it does assist in preventing the "white knuckle" driving. Plus, the product offers a lifetime warranty.

Mine was installed by Camping World for the previous owner of my coach. They did some things that differ from the instructions. Safe-T-plus provided excellent support to me helping sort things out and I am not the original purchaser.

As stated in prior posts, it helps with centering and cross winds. Several who have had the unfortunate experience of a steer axle blowout have stated they thought it was very helpful controlling the coach.

Our first MH was a Rexhall DP. I noted it had a Safe-T-Steer cylinder on the front 8k beam axle and it was leaking slightly. I contacted Safe-T-Steer who advised to ship it back to them and they would evaluate it.

It cost me about $50 to ship it SE. They knew I was not the original owner or purchaser yet shipped me a brand new one at no other cost. It made a noticeable difference in self-centering and windy conditions.

We have one for the new to us coach but have not installed it yet on the 13,200K beam axle, just waiting for better weather.

No matter what we get it will have a Safe-T-Plus mounted on it.

We have a Blue Ox True center just in case to help with a tire blow out.
It is also adjustable on the fly for wind, road crown or what ever.

I will be installing my Safe-T-Plus this week. If doing yourself, Amazon seems to have best price--Less than $560 for both Unit and Install kit. Plus Free shipping for prime members

I installed the Safe-T-Plus system and 27,000 miles later very pleased with it not to mention piece of mind if we have a blow out.
