2002 Holiday Rambler Vacationer.
12 v system shut down as if I hit the salesman switch, checked all in coming AC, converter out put, battery charge all appear to be normal. I don't have 12v coming to my EMS panel so have to believe it is the solenoid on the salesman switch. But I can't find it unless it looks different then the one I have seen before. Does anyone know where it might be? A photo of it would be great and is there a way to check it or bypass it without being able to find it?

It would help to have more details on your RV. If it's a Spartan chassis, as I see many HR Vacationer's are, generally most 12 v electrical components are in a compartment under the driver's seat, accessible through a compartment hatch in front of left front tire. Rather than a sudden failure of the solenoid, it could be a large circuit breaker or fuse in the cable, often mounted on the floor of the above mentioned compartment. You can often track down the battery disconnect switch by having someone triggering it at the entrance and you track it down by it's clicking sound.

Thank you for the help I did find it by the drivers side front. I had a blown fuse on the solenoid.

"Dewittkl".....Obviously, you found it in the bay under the driver's window, also known as the "run bay". If the solenoid itself ever quits, you can remove the two large 12 volt battery cables, use a short 1/4" bolt and nut and bolt them together. Wrap the connection in tape and your back in action. Most people do this before they have issues, since few ever use the switch at the door.
