Salvage Yards

Is it just me or are the RV salvage yard people jerks. Each one I talked to had a real attitude, like I was taking up thieir valuable time by asking for some parts
I have been to Arizona Salvage at Phoenix and then I was at Visone near London KY.
I ask for a 1" wide rubber trim strip and Visone said it was $35.00 per foot. Holy cow that would have been over $1200.00. Maybe they have people who pay those kinds of outrageous prices. That's probably how they afford all those Corvettes sitting out front.
Oh yes and none of the items in the store have the prices on them. So if you nee 3 items you have to run to the office and ask them. Then off the top of their head they shoot you a ridiculous price. I ask them about an item that I new the new price of, they shot me a price over double of what I could buy at an RV store.
I don't know if others have had the same experience or not but for me it really ticked me off and I will tell everyone about my experience.

I’ve had the same experience... It’s not worth your time to deal with them.

I had the exact opposite with the place in Phoenix. I went there and they were friendly. Had a couple items I needed and didn't have some. The stuff I did need, was reasonably priced. I even went hunting around the junked RVs, with their OK.

Glad to hear that! What is the name of that shop?
