So where should I drill the hole for the CO2 line.

What is the best place to drill a hole through it?
I don't have the kegerator hooked up yet, and need to put a 1/2" hole somewhere in the Samsung RF18 so I can run the CO2 line in to keep the keg pressurized. I can open the door to pour beer, but don't want to refrigerate the CO2 bottle.

To be safe I would use a door for your hole.

Ours was taken out and in through the opposite window. We love ours would never go back. Plus we gained 6 cu ft and with a much larger freezer.

I am assuming that this is a joke, since this refer is really not configured well for any keg. But, if you are serious, you should contact Samsung technical support for a diagram of their tube routing. None of the repair manuals I have seen give a clear understanding of just where these lines are routed.

When I installed my Samsung I called the tech about drilling holes in the top so I could attach braces. It was suggested I use a real small bit and just break through the surface, then take a wire or something small, stick it in the hole and wiggle it around a bit. If it hit something hard I should stay away from that area. Worked for me.

It's getting there.

Building this is a slow process. It took quite a while to put in a false wall and shorten the two shelves that the keg will displace. Pictures will follow if I can finish without destroying my new refrigerator.
