Another Samsung 197 here - 1.5 yrs on MSW with no problems. Agree on the Ice Cream - sure beats the crap out of the Not-So-Cold we got rid of.

Thanks for the kickbacks guys...now I have something to keep me busy for a few days. Cabinet work looks pretty easy after reading all the "got it done posts".

Sometimes easier to follow than to lead...

197 put in 2011. 4 GC batteries and MSW inverter charger and absolutely no problems. Best improvement we made.

I have been off the forum for about 6 months for being bad.

It has been 3 1/2 years since our Samsung RF-197 was installed and has been running 24/7/365 ever since.

Once we got the larger defrost drain clips installed to prevent water from building up in the bottom shelf of the fridge everything has been great.

I do have to replace the main control board one day but it isn't high on my priority list as yet.

The symptom is that the freezer had previously ranged in temp between 0F and -5F. Now it ranges between -10F to +10F. The fridge part remains the same as before, ranging between 35F - 38F.

That is my problem also. I have freezer temp set at highest (warmest) level.

We have had ours about a year and I will never go back to the fire hazard that was in here before (cabinet showed signs of burn marks when norcold was removed). Love the space and the consistent temps for our full timing lifestyle.
