we're going to San Francisco for a family event. Looking for a hotel/motel where several of the group would stay in several rooms with a parking lot large enough to park our 34'motor home while staying at thehotel. Haven't been able to find any yet. Most seem to have indoor parking with low height clerance. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi Rainbow,
In the 26+ years we lived in the Bay Area I can't recall a hotel/motel that will provide you with parking space for a 34' MH. You may find something in Daly City, South San Francisco, or San Bruno. All of those are south of the city, but within 10 miles of the financial district.

We'll be in your part of the nation this summer to attend a reunion of my wife's family in Orange City. Plan to see lot's of Iowa during the 2 weeks we are there. Keep the weather cool and dry for us, will you? We don't care for heat or humidity, especially when they come at the same time!!!

I agree with Paul. I've been to SF many times and never saw a hotel with room for a coach. I did take my 26 ft coach to Fisherman's Wharf once. Parked in the lot across the street from the wharf. First and last time. It was a driving adventure and for what I was charged to park, I could have paid for 3 nights in a CG.
