Saran Wrap on Front Cap?
I'm tired of cleaning dead bugs off the front of the MH. It's a pusher, so no airflow needed. I was thinking of covering it with plastic food wrap when it's clean, then peeling it off when dirty. Any comments on the idea?

Find out what the NASCAR folks use for their tear away windshield covers. Sounds like something you are looking for.
Personally, I'm seriously considering removing my old 3M mask that looks like crap and putting on the bed liner coating. I've read on this forum that several people have done it and washing away bugs is easy.

I have not tried any kind of bed liner coating on front of MH to make bug removal easier but that seems counter-intuitive. Making something rough so bug removal is easier????? I would think smoother..........like wax or Red Max Pro #3 would work better. But you cannot argue with success. If the bed liner coating works for you, go for it...............ronspradley

Used Red Pro Max,
bugs come off with waterless wash in a spray bottle and a rag, E A S Y.

Bed liner coating is a popular choice in Alaska for prevent rock chips form gravel roads, etc... I've never tried cleaning bugs off of it but I can tell you trying to wash mud and dirt is not an easy task. It never really looks clean. Mud and dirt embedded at 50 mph sure has staying power.

You could also use pallet wrapping film which you could get on ebay. Rolls are a lot longer and less money. Check the Yellow Pages you may have a packaging distributor close by that you could also purchase it from.
