Satellite dish removed from roof, now what!

I had the rubber roof repaired/ replaced on my rig. During that process I had the old crank up dish antenna removed (one less hole to leak). I now have the hole in the ceiling where the old crank used to be. Anyone have any ideas or actually done anything to cover this spot up. Pictures would really be appreciated

If you can run electrical wires, put a light there. If you can't run wires put a battery power light.

Install your sextant so you can get a navigation fix during night driving. (Just being silly). I think Mr_D has the best idea. Another smoke detector can never hurt.

A carbon monoxide alarm could be an option if you don't have one. They should be 6ft + from the ground. We have one mounted on our br ceiling. Here is the one we use.

Actually, if you look up the density of Carbon Monoxide and normal air, they are so close it makes little difference how high the detector is installed. nih.gov

We took our crank up antenna off also. We glued the crank and associated parts to the ceiling inside so it looks like it used to, but just does not function.

I already have the disco ball. I'm looking for something new and original to put over the hole.

That could very well be true, however, I'm prone to following what the manufactures instructions usually indicate as it tends to keep a simple process simple and leaves more time to enjoy rving.
