Satellite Service recommendation.

I have a Wynguard System Satalite and have been with Dish Service for almost 2years. Now you have to pay a monthly charge no matter what even if you use a couple days. Sucks for us RV People. Anyone have a better service for us?

Depends on which WINEGARD system you have.
Get Dish for your home base and simply take the receiver with you when you travel is the cheapest. Dish also offers pay as you go monthnto month service.

Years ago we started with Dish Pay As You Go. Liked it. Dumped cable TV at the house and went with Dish. Overall less monthly money out go and consistency of programming house / RV.

I have Direct at the stick house. I just take two of the receivers with me when I get away. No extra cost.

I moved our Hopper 3 DVR into the motorhome full-time and use wireless Joey's in the house (and RV bedroom). The Winegard Trav'ler on the RV provides TV to the whole house (I have to position the RV just right for all TV's in the house to get a signal). But it works for us and no matter where we go our main source of TV and all our recorded shows come along. Makes the cost easier to digest.

I have Dish at home too. I just pay an extra $10 each month for a receiver in the motor home. Works out well for us since we are traveling a week or two each month.
