scan guage D

I installed a scan guage D got it all setup it worked perfect while parked under the barn. I took the motorhome out for a short trial run and about 15 miles into the trip the SG would go into sleep mode about every 2 or 3 minutes. I would punch the power button and it would be right back where it left off. I checked both connections and they seem to be fine. Any suggestions?

I thin they address that in the directions that came with it. I remember it had something to do with not getting a good 12v signal through the connection. If you re-read your manual, I think you will find it.
Also, you can call them. They are really nice to deal with and will help over the phone.
