5 minutes to open package (tough plastic!)

5 minutes to check behind dash to ensure easy drilling. one 1/2" hole drilled just below tach and speedo

5 minutes to route cable and hook to ScanGage, turn key to ON, then plug in the multi-connect.

done

Still having trouble ordering my Scangauge. Went to Autozone, punched in coupon code TRT41. Comes up code no good, price $169.00. What am I doing wrong?

On installing mine the hardest part was locating the plug. It was to the left of the steering post against the firewall behind large looms of wire. It was a very tight working area for this old guy.

Does your Freightliner information console work that is just below your new scan gauge D. My works but the output is so dim i can't read it. I also bought the Scan gauge D a few weeks back but not quite as good a price as you got.

Thanks Bamaboy473. Just ordered mine. At $120.00 it's silly not to have one.

Yes, it's a clear LED screen. I think that the scangauge will provide better and more information, though. Using both of them will give me constant info without having to take my mind off driving while shifting through screens.
