Talking uLTRA gUAGE hERE

we bught, put in Ultra Gauge....has PLENTY of info for us....avg MH users...Easy To READ!! Big PLUS! easy to set up and I guess I could install a Trany Temp Ga if I wanted...1/2 price from the Scan and EASIER to Read....58Y.Old eyes

Nice to see another Insight owner on this forum. I have used an UltraGuage in my Insight for a couple of years and love all of the additional information provided. I especially like the fact that the coolant temp is shown accurately, unlike the dash guage.

However, as previously mentioned, the UltraGuage does NOT give transmission temperature readings, so it's not as useful for RVing/towing.

yeah, we kinda explore the edges of the mpg world, dont we? mid-70s commuting, 6-10 on vacation. i need to make a bumper sticker for the insight: I'm saving gas...for my RV! and one for the rv: My other car gets 75mpg!

anyway, i too keep the coolant temp gauge up on the sg2. lets me know when i need to remove the radiator block. typically 75-78 OAT and i start gaining temp on the freeway overpasses. of course, the factory gauge never moves. i also keep the front battery voltage and TPS in view. the fourth one i vary a bit.
