Schwintek Slide Noise ? ? ?

So... here is the issue, when moving there is a banging noise in the wall at the area of the motor on my Schwintek slide in my Winnebago Vista 31KE when driving and the slide is in. The slide works fine but the banging noise is driving me nuts!

At first I thought it was the "topper" holder banging on the outside, but it is not. I have driven with the drivers window open and watched as the noise happened and I was looking (DW was driving actually). It is not the topper or the mount for the topper.

I have put my hand in the wall seal with the slide in and found that the motor and the drive shaft going to the lower gear are solid and do not make the noise. I shook them both with my fingers and they are NOT loose.

What else is in there? How to best open to see this space? It is easier to look at with the slide out?

I have slide-phobia to begin with, so this is just making my phobia worse (my previous MH did not have slides and I did not want them).

HELP!!!! ?????

Thanks in advance for any advice....

Living the Dream... and sweating from Slide-phobia...

Have you lubricated your slides according to the Schwintek You Tube video? I had the same banging noise, lubricated them, and no more noise. I do not know why or how it worked but it did for me. It is worth a try.

I just had an email exchange with Schwintec and was told that they now advise to clean the tracks with warm water and soap and if lubricant needed to use a dry spray lube.

You folks are great! I have 'faith' that what you said will fix it... cannot find anything not working properly.

Another Question:

So.. being that I am infected with slide-phobia, I want to learn where my slide controller is. The electronic box where you can override the system to get it in if it quits on you.

Anyone know where this is on a Vista or any other model such that I can know where to start looking?

Thank you,
