Scottsdale coach question

We are new to RVing and looking to buy our first coach, a 2004 Scottsdale 3670. We plan on being out at least 2-3 at months at a time. Any advice or warnings about this coach.

Welcome to iRV2. Newmar is a very good Brand. I have not heard any chronic complaints from those who own Scottsdale coaches. If it is required, make sure the brake recall has been completed.

To start here is a brochure of the Scottsdale your interested in.
If its a workhorse chassis make sure dealer has had the brake recall done.
Recall is for four new brake calipers no charge to you or him.
Here are Newmar recalls on the 2004 Scottsdale.
If a dealer is selling this coach he should have the recalls completed. You have what they are have him prove it and show you. Most recalls completed will have a sticker stating its complete.
The coach should serve you well for entering the Newmar family.

Hi Swaddy,
You will love the Newmar Scottsdale on the workhorse chassis. I have the 2003 Scottsdale 3257. We take it out every month. It has lot's of room and is well built. The Scottsdale was Newmars entry level coach, but you would not think that it is. The quality is outstanding. Make sure that you get the brake recall done.

Swaddy, I think you will be pleased with the coach you are considering. Like Jazzz10, we have the 2003 Scottsdale 3257 on the Workhorse Chassis and we think it is great. The 3670 Model is a little bigger. The recalls have been mentioned. Spend plenty of time with the dealer to make sure everything is functioning properly. If the TVs do not have a Digital Converter have the Dealer install one as part of the deal. Work the slide several times. Ensure they seal properly when opened and closed. We spend several month out on the road each year. For the two of us the coach has plenty of room and is very confortable and liveable
