Seriously, I would just fill the holes with Dicor and be done with it.

No intent to make fun of Redapple (his method is as good as the others) just poking fun at the lengths we go to over-fix or problems.
Agreed this is overkill, however, I feel just dicor is not enough. Epoxy and dicor. The eternabond is my added step.

Plus one on 3M 5200.It will last forever. These Marine adhesives are grossly superior to RV products but virtually unknown here except to former sailors.

Wow, way to complicated, plus pieces of eternabond stuck in small spots would really look poor in my opinion. I've done this same repair several times over the years. Pretty simple, take a tube a silicone, cut just the very end off the tip and force silicone down into the screw hole. Wipe off any excess, allow to dry for an hour or so and then cap with a small dollop of Dicor. You're done.

I'm with the boating crowd .... 3M 5200. If its good enough to seal fittings that remain underwater in salt water, it's good enough for me.
