searching for a Full service campground in upstate New York

my wife and I are looking into renting a class a 39 foot RV for a week at the end of July from a private renter. It is located in the Lake Placid New York area and we are searching for a full-service campground in the region. We haven't had much luck was hoping someone on here would know of a good place to recommend.

Thanks,

Mike

What do you mean by "full service?" If you are referring to full hook ups, there are quite a few in the Upstate area to choose from. One of our favorites is the Lake George RV Park, but there is also Association Island on Lake Ontario as well as many others.

I have to make another enthusiastic recommendation for Lake George RV Park.http:http://www.lakegeorgervpark.com///

There are many other campgrounds in your area, and of course others around Lake George, but though a bit pricey LGRVP is bar far the best.

Several of them around Lake George.

If you don't mind leaving the Adirondacks a few miles behind, the Villages at Turning Stone in Oneida (near Rome) is one of the premier parks in the nation - a 10/10/10 rated park.

That link should be http://www.lakegeorgervpark.com although I have not yet been able to get the webpage to load.

If you want to camp near Lake Placid, the KOA in Wilmington, NY is very nice.
