A 22,000 pound RV impacting a 3500 pound low riding vehicle is not like hitting a wall.... it's more like plowing through it. I seriously doubt the deceleration will be fast enough to throw a 200 pound human across the room. Just say'n.

There are two sides to that.

Side one - A close friend had an accident similar to what was described. Full sized car tried to turn right inside him as he made a wide right hand turn in a tandem axial 45' class A. He didn't feel a thing and wasn't certain anything had happened while the car was totaled and pretty much crushed. Advantage RV.

Side two - Modern coaches have air brakes, disk brakes on all wheels and ABS. I was told third hand that a similar coach (45' tandem) was on a two lane highway when a tractor-trailer jackknifed and blocked their lane as he approached. Driver naturally stomped on the breaks in a panic stop. Not only did everything unsecured rocket forward, but unbelted wife flew forward through windshield of coach to end up on ground. Not sure if she survived or not, but driver remained in seat due to his seat belt.
Advantage Seatbelt.

Just saying ~ you can't always plan your accident.

Back in the early ninety's we bought a used class C. We took our two young children with us when we went to pick it up and the PO pointed at a big dent in the dog house and told our kids, see what happens when you are not seated and belted in. He explained that he had needed to make a panic stop and his mother, who had been standing up in the back of the MH had been propelled forward and slammed into the dog house hard enough to damage it. Don't remember what happened to the poor woman but that damaged dog house was a constant reminder for the 10 years that we had the old Edson.
