I just got a 32ft tropical 1992. Thinking about puting a secoand ac unit in. How hard would that be and the wireing. How hard would that be to install. Have 30 amp coach. It get 100+ in the state of OK for a long time. Also what window heat repellent do you use

Some RV's are wired for another heat pump or air con, some are not. No way to know if yours is wired or not except to pull the surround out of the second vent and see. They fit in a normal vent hole, if you don't have a second vent it's not going to be easy.

There is no way you can do it with just a 30 amp hookup. What I have seen people do is wire in the second unit separate from the MH wiring and either have a second 30 amp power cord or switch to a 50 amp power cord and have one leg go to the MH factory power input and the other leg go to a box just for the second AC unit.

Run a separate power cord a 12-3 wire should be good for that one and don't cut roof supports and it should be fine.

Most units over 30 feet have a wire run to the bedroom vent. Remove the trim around the bedroom vent and you will probably find a 120 volt wire. You can install a second A/C with 30 amps, but you will have to install a control box that will not let both compressors run at the same time. You can buy these at camping world. The control box will let both A/C's work, but the compressors will alternate running, so both will not come at the same time.
