Seeking more advice for a 1st timer

Am headed out to pick up my 89 Silver Eagle tomorrow and before I fork over the rest of the cash I would like to ask what you would have asked about your first RV before driving it down the road? I have a checklist for the mechanical things, AC, etc.
I judt am trying to minimize the number of things things that I'll be saying to myself...I wish I asked about that.

Did you ask about the age of the tires. They can look great but should be replaced in the 5 to 7 years of age range. There has been many threads about how to read the date code and when they should be replaced. Ask your dealer. Peace and Safe Travels... D

Hi rigmover,
In addition to the tires, ask about the batteries (age). If there is a monitor panel, see what the charge state is. Not connected to shore power, 12.6 VDC is fully charged. Connected to shore power, 13.5 VDC is a full charge reading. Look at the batteries. Is there sulfating on the top? Are the sides straight or budging?

Next would be the accessories that come with the coach. Sewer and water hoses and attachments, etc.

Good luck and many happy miles..
