Use the IRV2 classifieds, Rvtrader, and RVUSA. Exposure is the name of the game.

I just sold my 2015 Tuscany using motorhomefinders.com. I put an ad on IRV2 but didn't get any responses.

I sold my PaceArrow on craigslist in two days. Price it right with good pictures and a good honest description.

X2 for Craigslist.
Our Bounder sold in 2 weeks in Portland, OR to someone who was vacationing in Southern California but lived in Vancouver, BC....they had a local friend look at it then drove all day/night to see it. Bought it the next morning. Took a couple of days to work out the international bank transfers.

Good luck selling it. We had a 2008 40' Bus and thought it was an awesome coach. I'm sure others will know it for what it is.

Be sure to include as much maintenance history and manuals on installed equipment as possible and put it in your ad that you have it. A big selling point and a bit of work can get it on a CD for ease of use.

Just be prepared for the replies from scammers on craigslist. You can tell them because they say "I'm interested in purchasing your item for sale" They never call it by what it's advertised as such as a motor home.

And if you publish your phone number, don't respond to text messages except to tell them to call you. They will waste a lot of your time.

We've sold our last two on Craigslist. Both sold in a reasonable amount of time. For me the key to CL is to be very descriptive and plenty of photos. You can post 24 of them on CL. Make sure the unit is clean. Far to many times I've seen RV's with trash all over. That says a lot (to me at least) about the owner. Search around on the Internet and see what similar RV's are going for and price accordingly. To often we as the current owner feel the value is higher than what it is really worth.

CL also has an anonymous mail system. I never put phone numbers in the ad. When responders want it they generally are not interested in the item for sale .... just your phone number. Same for when they ask for your email address. I always respond by saying that I prefer the CL email system. It works fine. If you get deep enough into negotiations you can then trade phone numbers and personal email addresses for further correspondence.

Good Luck !

Craigslist, because you can find ones local to you and not all across the country.

I have sold several motorhomes on eBay. I mostly use eBay as exposure and every deal was consummated after the auction closed. After inspection.

Craigslist and RV Trader. CL gets a lot of traffic, but a lot of scammers. RV Trader is expensive, but the people who contact you are usually more serious about purchasing. I had 5X's more contact through CL. In the end my buyers used RV Trader to find my TT.

I sold my last coach 7/15. I used both CL and RV Trader. I wasted $75 on the RV trader add the buyer (as expected) came from CL.
