Selling RV--private seller

My husband and I are considering selling our diesel RV at the end of the summer, then rethinking our financial situation next spring and purchasing a replacement. It is our first RV (we love it), and we purchased it used from a dealer. If we were to sell it ourselves, how does one go about finalizing the deal? We have to pay off the loan before we can provide a title. I've heard mentioned on here before using an escrow company. How does that work?

Any other advice you can give in regards to selling your RV as a private seller would be greatly appreciated.

I would think that your local bank could handle the closing. I would call them and ask. Good luck on selling it and enjoy the hunt for replacing it.
