I do not know if anyone has experience in this, however, I propose the question that could be useful.

According to your judgment, in our motorhomes (I mean only of class A) is it possible to separate the living unit from the chassis to perform good maintenance, especially to the chassis?

I managed to do a lot of things, working under, but there are so many points where it's hard to get there.

What do you think?

From seeing RV's built in the factory, I don't think there's any way to lift the house off the chassis without destroying it. Each wall is individually bolted to the chassis, then to each other, and the roof and front/rear caps hold it all together. If you could unbolt it from the chassis, I think it would quickly fall apart. You can remove individual walls, but that's a complicated, expensive endeavor. I say this without even taking slide outs into consideration - you would have to remove all of them prior to attempting to lift the rest of the house.

The house depends on the chassis frame for it's integrity. If the manufacturer were to build the "House" as a separate self supporting unit and then attached it to the chassis, it could be done. The house, without the support of the chassis, would collapse on itself.

Ditto.... it would be like a house of cards tumbling down.

I know of a guy that put a Safari box on an Alpine frame so I guess it can be done if you have the equipment or a lot of cash. This guy had both

There is a cotter pin in each corner.Goes through a locating stud welded to the frame. Bend the ears of the cotter pin, pull it out from the locating stud and the coach just pulls straight up. There may be 3 or 4 wires to disconnect. I advise you take a picture of the wires before you disconnect them.

Sometimes I put a piece of tape on the front of the coach so I know to put it at the end with only two wheels - not the one with 4 wheels.

Oh, sorry - I have a class A diesel pusher - maybe your's comes apart differently...

(Not really sure I understood your question - Perhaps the answer is; No, they don't snap apart like legos. But, it could be a pretty neat concept!)

The question seemed clear enough to me.

Is there a way to separate the chassis from the living area to make a complete and easy maintenance?

I do not know if there is someone who worked at Winnebago or other factories, even watching videos I think it's not feasible, but an expert could say something more.
