Isn't it Sequoia N.P. where they have those huge wide trees that you can drive through. I always wanted to see them. Anyone been there with there RV and could you drive your Class A through any of the trees or are you restricted as to which roads you can travel?

i think your thinking about the redwood hwy. trees of mystery and avenue of the giants on hwy 101 just out of kalamath calif. could be wrong tho.

I grew up in that area, and spent many a day looking at those beautiful trees, however, there are no drive-thru trees at any of the NP or SP, however there are 3 privately owned tree's that you can drive through for a fee, and none of those will accomodate an RV, not sure you could fit a full size pickup through them, small car (toyota/honda) no problem. The ones that I know of are Giant Redwoods not Sequia's.

You got me curious, here is the list from NP website.
"There are three coast redwood drive-through trees on the coast. From north to south they are: Klamath Tour Thru Tree, Myers Flat Shrine Tree, and Leggett Chandelier Tree."

There is at least one drive-through tree in Sequoia/Kings Canyon. We were there last year in the minivan. No, don't take your class A through it, it won't fit. It is a tree that fell over and then a hole cut through it you can drive through.
You could tour the park in your class A, but I think you might find it difficult. I don't remember many rv parking spots, but we were pre-rv then, so I wasn't paying a lot of attention. Some roads are narrow and not rv friendly.
