Yep, that's where I bring my beast. In Oregon, Henderson's Line-Up Brake & RV Inc, never been there, but heard all good of them.

Pacific Power Products in Ridgefield WA just north of Vancouver WA. I've had two services with them and was very satisfied with the results. They are the area reps and main service center for Allison transmissions.

I'll second that especially for engine and trans work.
And stay far away from Cummins NW in Portland. Won't go into specifics here.
We've also been to Hendersons and Brazils. Both are good IMHO.

Service In N Oregon & S Washington
Thanks much to those of you who replied with helpful info. I discovered years ago that it was futile to send my wife into a repair shop with a vehicle as most shops would try to take advantage of a female, assuming she knew little about machines. I have now discovered that many repair shops view RV owners in the same light, only worse, assuming they all have deep pockets. I will phone the shops you suggested and discuss options with them, and will post the repair results when completed. Thanks again . Cummins in Pendleton and Russ Dean in Pasco did not do the work I was charged for- needless to say I won't go back there. Les Schwab in John Day sent a tire repair truck out 60 miles to fix a flat for me and did it very quickly, and did not charge enough. Took the ruined tire and wheel back with him because I said I would buy a tire and put on the wheel, I was called away on business and did not get back for a year, they had the tire mounted with my name on it and again charged less than it was worth. I guess you know who I will buy my next tires from !
