Well....

I've been to Horwith in Bath PA, and although the (warrantee) work was OK I sat in my coach for 5 hours after showing up on time for my appointment before they got to me. Not impressed.

Ideally you would go to an Oasis dealer. They are supposed to be super FCCC ie RV friendly. There's three all at about 160 miles from me in Bethlehem....

Interestingly enough I am JUST on the website to get the URL for you, and I notice they now have SOME dealers which are "ELITE SUPPORT" which addresses my beef with Hortwith... wahddayaknow.... Closest is 43 miles away.... Well well.

If I needed to go see one my gut would send me to Lancaster.

So.... go here:

I agree with oscarvan that you might want to consider using an actual Freightliner authorized shop. They're not the cheapest place to get maintenance done but at least they are ultimately supported by FCCC. I suppose you can compare it to taking your Ford to a Ford dealership for service or using an independent shop.

I don't see an Oasis dealer in your immedate area. As oscarvan mentioned, Freightliner does have something called "Elite Support" but that does not exclusively pertain to FCCC motorhomes ...it's for all Freightliner products. The Oasis dealers, however, specifically agree to treat motorhome owners with the "respect they deserve." I say this because as we all know, there are many truck service facilities --many even Freigtliner shops-- that don't like working on motorhomes and they aren't shy in letting you know.

Sherwood Freightliner has a pretty good reputation in the area and has three shops in the Scranton Wilkes-Barre area. The closest one to you is probably the one in Drums. However, that one is not specified as a "Elite Support" location ...I'm not really sure how important that might be, however.

Sherwood's Elite Support locations are in Dunmore and Tunkhannock:

If you're looking for an independent shop, I notice that in my log many have mentioned Mar-Chet's up in the Scranton area that is an excellent shop with reasonable prices but I'm not sure if that's too far for you or not. They do maintenance on a lot of diesel pushers.

Mar-Chet website ...go HERE

Ah, forgot... there is ONE independent shop I would take my coach to. I've not let them do any work on it, and I'm not sure they will, but they do my PA state inspection. They were very nice. Scott did the inspection, and he was enthusiastic about the motorhome. We talked maintenance while he did his thing and he was knowledgeable. And, he even let me put my own sticker on so he wouldn't have to trudge on my carpet.

That said, I would still go to an Oasis dealer if I could.
