Service on my 2012 American Revolution

Upgraded to a 2012 American Revolution on the way home from Florida this spring. Over all I am very happy with our up grade. We have a few good RV dealers close by and I have used them for some service. My question is I am not that far from the factory in Decatur a little over an hour away. Go there for service or stay local? I have a pricey after market warranty for break downs and failures of other kinds. I find dealerships kind of shady. Thanks, Jerry

I wish the factory was only a hour away! We're on our 4th American Coach, factory support is top shelf in my opinion. Threr are a few dealers I trust, Tom Johnson's in Marion, NC is one.

We have never been to any service facility but Decatur. I know it's going to be fixed right and if any problems they will bend over backwards to resolve them. We are 2.5 hours away. Don't like the knock on the door at 6 AM but that's just part of the experience

When I had to go to Decatur for a serious issue...the dealer chose to ignore...they fixed other things that were broken and I didn't even mention. All without charge.

If I were that close to Decatur I'd go there.

American Coach Local Dealer

Go to the newest and closest American dealer. Veurink's RV - Division Ave. Grand Rapids, MI. Probably about 15 miles from home Tell Tim Veurink (owner) and Tom Woods (service) that I sent you. Your on your own from there. New line for them and still the oldest operating HR dealer in the nation. Good people.

For an hour drive.............Take the factory service! No body knows more about your coach than the folks that built it.

I agree with the others that recommend going to Decauter. Factory techs and parts that probably don't have to be shipped.
