I added a second tube like Redbaron73.

Mine are 4 3/4" with the 5" caps hinged with latches.

The ladder I have is the GPL 7' ladder.

In case you are curious, I did a write up of the install, located here:

Love this install. I wonder about the pipe strap cutting into the PVC over time due to road vibration. Have you put many miles on your rig since? Any sign of issues or am I overthinking this? I need to do this since I've run out of room in my wet bay trying to store 60' of 3" hose.

FLSteve's vinyl fence post thing is on my list, but meanwhile I still just use a plastic tub. A good rinse at takedown, and connecting one end to the other to close the loop prevents any seepage and odor problem. Tub holds two long and one short hose, plus assorted fittings.

I have about 12k miles on it since the install, and there has been no damage to the pipe. There is absolutely no movement either forwards or sideways. If it does I will tighten. You can tell by the way that the gap was separated that it would take a long time to "cut" into the vinyl. Since I use it frequently I would notice once it gets slack.

I did get it really tight, so as to flatten the worm gear along the top inside the tube. Setting of '6' on the dewalt drill clutch.
