Shake Down Cruise

The rig is loaded and we are taking our first excursion or "shake down " cruise whichever is more appropriate with our new rig with our friends who are also doing their shakedown trip with us.
Looking forward to many trip with it and them.

Happy trails. With a new coach keep a note pad on the kitchen counter to take notes concerning the new coach. Stuff you forgot to pack and will forget, coach systems that were a problem and a wish list of upgrades or improvements. You will forget, trust me I do every time, unless I write it down.

Shake being the operative word. You'll always remember you're first time.

Yea, that is the main reason for this trip is to us getting used to the functionality of the rig and see what needs to be addressed by the dealer.
We always keep a pad on the fridge for stuff we either forgot or thought we wouldn't use.
It's like anything else, a learning curve.

Congrats!

We also just took possession of our new coach and went on a 4 day adventure to work out the bugs and document everything. So far only one thing on the dealer checklist and a bunch of stuff we either thought of and couldn't find where we put it or thought we didn't need. And this is after 3 years of motorhome life before!
