Sharp 1870 replacement

I want to replace the micro/convection unit in our Adventurer with just a micro with exhaust unit. Everything at the big box stores seem to mount from above rather than the swing up ledge and angle bolts that my current unit uses. Can anyone suggest a unit that would work with the current mounting system and available space (just under 30")? Thanks!

I just went through this and darn near drove myself nuts trying to find a replacement for our burned out Sharp R-1874. I didn't want another Sharp due to the poor reputation of this particular unit. Unfortunately, I could not find a replacement for it that would properly mount without doing major modifications to the cabinetry. We tried LG, GE and Kenmore to no avail. In the end we wound up with another Sharp R-1874 and cross our fingers every time we use it.

micro.

there is no reason you can not get your a appliance repaired by a appliance tec.the greatest cost if it was defective would be the magnetron tube around $100.00 good luck pk42
